Camping week

My niece Alyssa with some of her loot from the candy store. The kids loved the candy store...they were there like 5 times a day!

Kendra and her kiddie cone that she had everday

Kendra even got something from the candy store...a candy necklace

The cottage we called home for a week

Uncle Ryan trying to throw Allison in Lake Michigan at the beginning of the week when the water was really cold! Aunt Marisa is trying to save her!!
Cousins Eric and Kendra
My little water baby! She was in the pool all day everyday. She did not like the beach at all because of the sand on her toes.

We had a great week spending time with our family. And we couldn't have asked for better weather. Kendra had so much fun playing with her cousins and Nana and Papa all week. I think she is going through with drawls this week!

Graysen

Here are some new pics of Graysen. We had his 2 month check up last week. He is doing well. Actually he is grown' like a weed. He weighed in at 14lbs. 12oz. which is in the 97th percentile. He's a hoss as Ryan always calls him! The Kloosterman household is still a little stessful. Graysen is still up 3 to 4 times a night, but I think my body is starting to adjust to no sleep again. But his smiles make it all worth it!!!!

Gardening adventures

We have been building raised vegtable gardens for the past few weeks. Yesterday we finally finished them up with planting the seeds and plants. I am very excited to have a garden this year. Last year we planted tomato and pepper plants in pots, so this year I have a lot more room and now I can plant more things. Ryan's pretty much been doing all the work. I would love to help but someone's gotta watch Graysen! Kendra had fun digging in the dirt helping us plant!

Graysen's Baptism

Graysen was baptized this past Sunday~Mother's Day. It was a very special day for me. We hope that God can help us teach him and Kendra the way of the Lord.
Mother's Day~I know some days are harder then others, and don't feel appreciated by 2 little kids, but when I see Kendra with that big huge grin on her face, or when she cuddles up next to me in the mornings, or when she wants kisses on her bo bo's I know that I am loved. And when Graysen just stares at me with those big beautiful blue eyes I know that I am loved. So I want to wish all the mother's including my mom a wonderful day...everyday...

Tulip Time

Tulip Time Downtown Holland
We had fun bringing the kids to watch the parades and seeing the tulips

Tubby Time

Giving Graysen a bath is quite a challenge when I have a little helper. Kendra likes to wash him up, but Graysen doesn't seem to like all the water splashing in his eyes! Kendra also loves the water, so it's quite a mess when we are done. Although last week we gave them a bath together in the tub and it wasn't as messy and went a little better.
Kendra loves to brush Graysen's hair

Kendra being a big helper

Ahhhh...nice clean baby
And just because I love little baby toes :)

Happy Easter!!!

Saturday Kendra and I went to an Easter Egg hunt at the Park. When we got there, she saw all the eggs on the ground and wanted to get them right away. Well she snatched two of them right away and then I told her we had to wait until they said GO!! As soon as they said GO she didn't know what to do. All of the bigger kids got to them first!! Oh well, maybe next year!
Aunt Kari had an Easter Egg hunt for just for Kendra, and she got all the eggs to herself!!!

And since Graysen doesn't do much, here is his Easter outfit just chillin' out on the couch!

Home with day to day life times TWO

We are home and finally are settled in with two kids...I think! Ryan has been off this whole time so he has been a great help. We'll see how tomorrow goes, since that is his first day back and my first day home with two kids.

Graysen is doing really well. He eats really good and sleeps good. This past week he is up every three hours day and night to eat. It's almost like clock work. Nights have been going really well. He's up at 12, 3, 6, and at 9am to eat and goes right back to sleep when he's done eating. What a drastic change from Kendra...which I got no sleep with her. But just as I'm getting him figured out I'm sure he will throw me for a loop. So I don't want to get too excited about his night time schedule. Daddy gave him a bottle yesterday just to see how he would do, and he took it like a champ...no problems at all...sucked it right down.

Kendra has been such a great big sister. She helps me get Graysen's blanket and other things I ask her to get for him. We just have to watch her really close. She likes to hit him and pull on his feet. She likes to give him a drink of her sippy cup. It's actually going better then I expected. She's not too jealous when I'm holding him or feeding him, which surprises me because she's such a mamma's girl. In other news, she is finally staying in her bed at night and nap time. I'm very glad about that, because that floor seems so hard to me, and I think she is more rested when she sleeps in her bed. I'm not sure what clicked in her head that her bed was more comfy?!

Toe Jam

Today Kendra and I were "resting" together on our bed and she decided she wanted her socks off. So she pulled them off and proceeded to point out all of the toe jam to me. She looked in between each toe and whined to me to get those darn fuzzies out from her toes. After her feet were free and clear she then rubbed her blanket on the bottoms of her feet....weird!!! Then she wanted to do the same with my feet. So I had to take my slippers and socks off and clean between my toes until she approved! She is such a little girly girl. She hates fuzzies and dirt on the floor and will go nuts if she sees it. She also hates dirty hands and any dirt or hair that she may see in the bath tub. Needless to see we didn't get a nap in this afternoon, but the "Toe Jam" made me laugh. I am very blessed that I get to stay home and watch her silly little antics, even when some days are stressful and want to go to work.
